The first documented evidence of "Cox's Tampa Minnow" appears in an ad from the Tampa Tribune, dated 1916. Arthur Cox's first minnow bears a strong resemblance to the Wilson's Wobbler of the same period. In 1920, he changed the company name to Cox's Sporting Goods and introduced the no-chin, Zaragossa-style lure (below). To date, only a few examples of his lures have surfaced.
