Do-All Bait Manufacturing Company
Gratigny Station, Miami, Florida
c. 1950's

Little is known about Paul Takeshita and his Miami-based operation. Apparently Takeshita achieved the highest level of Samurai in Japan before coming to America, where he began his modest lure-making enterprise. Unfortunately, ads appearing in Field & Stream (1955) and the Miami Herald (1959) did little to boost sales, as this small manufacturer quickly faded into obscurity.

Although several un-catalogued examples have been found, box packaging indicates there were four production lures offered — including the Nofulin, Trojan, Crown, and Seven. Most are handsomely painted in a yellow with silver scale pattern and silver highlights.

Do-All lures are an obvious expression of form following function — several of the body styles feature multiple line ties, and the Nofulin could be fished in either direction. Pictured (from top to bottom) are the Nofulin, Trojan and a unique Zara-type bearing a crude, but functional multiple line-tie.
