Earl Gresh
St. Petersburg, Florida
c. 1930's

Earl Gresh was a composer, boat racer, wood craftsman, and to the benefit of collectors, a very creative lure maker. His wooden lures are sometimes odd in appearance, but never lacking in imagination. From wooden fly-rod poppers to magnum tarpon lures, he made them both for fresh and saltwater. When he wasn't on the water or preoccupied with other interests, Earl Gresh was working on new lure ideas to fool fish.
